We are at a Ball tomorrow to Support my Sister-in-law

Who runs in a club for over 50's called the Golden Girls

Last Sunday they ran the Edinburgh Marathon 26 Miles her 1st 

Completed in 6hrs 8 min's in intense heat!!

All local Charities will benefit and so far they have raised £25,000  

Hopefully it will be more after Friday

Really looking forward to getting dressed up and being waited on 

l'll report back after the event

And didn't think l could use other than on a Christmas card

How wrong was l!! 

This challenge is the ideal theme 

And 

l REMEMBER WHEN WE HAD AN OPEN FIRE 

This image brought back those lovely thoughts and the smell of 

Wood and Coal burning

And l don't know if you could ever see images on the coals or was it

Just my imagination.........l don't think so!!

We have Gas now...... not as attractive but still, we get the heat we want

Using different shades of one colour 

l have chosen Black and White one of my Favourite Monochrome along with Blue

l have had this A4 Card along with plenty of others but l don't use them as often as l should so 

l cut this down using my Rota Cutter and Scalloped the edges

l Shaped a card!!

What a lovely day it's been

Today's  challenge is

  simplylessismoore

Not a Square or a Rectangle 

What is required is a shaped card and here is my Entry

l sort of copied this idea

Such great Inspiration from the team 

No templates used cut out manually 

As illistrated

 l don't often do anything other than Easel or straight cards 

And this was my 1st attempt

Yellow card for Neck and Shoulders

Fringe cut out manually with one pair of Sissors not these that have more than one blade

All his life he has been a fisherman and this l just thought was the Perfect theme

And l know lots of us struggle with male cards but this one just fits the bill

And very little colouring too!!

Such a dream holiday so enjoyable and relaxing

Hello as you can see l'm back after my holiday in Tenerife

Weather, Food and Hotel Fabulous only wish l was still there!

Although it is nice to go away its also lovely being back home and enjoying a good cup of English tea and sleeping in your own bed what do you think? l think so anyway

No card but have a look at these lovely Photo's just a small amount too many to publish 

It was an All inclusive holiday a present from our daughter Sarah and was presented at my 60th birthday party last year Both my husband and l was in total shock and we had the best time ever so

 This is one of the view from our Hotel room

 Reception area or part of it it was so big

 Hotel at the top of the picture from the resort there were 5 pools and yes l did have a swim

 Day out walking by another complex you had to pay to use this pool not part of the complex we was at but it really is a lovely pool no food or animals allowed

 One of the many water features

 This was our last day so not too happy it was really hot and out of the room by midday still had the use of all facilities though!

 Champagne and home made biscuits one of the beauties of being all inclusive just helped yourself

 This is only a small portion of the free drinks you helped yourself and was available from 12 O'clcok and sometimes it wasn't cleared away from 11:30 in the evening
