A Merry Christmas

Hi to my Fellow Friends,

Well today l have decided at a very late moment to enter into another Challenge and this challenge is for

Design2Delight using the Three Colours Specified, Red Blue + White and l have used the Christmas Theme, Purely because l am ashamed to say l don't own any images from Faiths Store but l have had a look and will be purchasing one shortly!

I have taken the background colours Red,Blue + White and printed it directly onto the white card, placed the Mounted Snowman Image onto some Red Mirror Card and to give it a little bit of a lift l used Double sided 3D Form Squares, To decorate the Snowman l used some Stickle Green + Red on his hat Red Gem Stones on his Belly Silver for a little snow Red Card Candy, The Image + Background came from a Decoupage CD that l have owned for a long time but never really used it so thought this might come in useful for the Challenge,

Another Birthday Coming up!!

Hi Everbody,

Another day Another Challenge, This card is for Penny Black Saturday Challenge Week 157

and the theme is Stitching which l don't do alot off!!......... anyway, thought l would give it ago as l'm really liking these challenges, To begin with l managed to stitched a Zig Zag design on the bottom of the card using 2 colours of cotton Pink + lilac and as l may say so did this by hand!! l don't own a sewing maching!! the card used is White embossed with Hearts which l coloured using my Promarker pens, l added some pearly Pink Adhesive gems, Pink Glitter peel off, Happy Birthday Sentiment and last but not least my Penny Black stamp also coloured with Promarker pens, hope you like this and if your happy with what you see please leave your comments, any comments that you do leave are gratefully appreciated and l read them all, Many Thanks Sandra H xx

Birthday cup cake Easel card

Hi to all you readers,

Hope you had a good day the weather turned out far better than expected, the sun was lovely not sure where these weather forecasters are getting the information from as they seem to be getting it wrong!

Todays challenge l have chosen to go for Just some lines l have never entered into this challenge before so thought l would give it a go.

The card l am entering is a Download that l purchased from Scrapbookingmad some time back

The background paper is pink with dots on and the Pyramage image is a cup cake which l layered, l also used Silver Mirror card to give a nice rim round the outside and the sentiment is Sprinkle with fun on your Birthday, l like the effect of Easel cards they are just that little bit different and make a change to send to someone who may not have received one before.

Get well with a Hedgehog Bouquet

 Hi Everybody,

Well, its Saturday today and great!!............ another challenge from Penny Black Saturday!!

Today l have made my card using Hedgehog Bouquet and its a get well card for someone that is a little down at the moment and although there isn't any smell coming from that fabulous Bouquet hopefully it will be a nice thought for anyone who is feeling not too good.

l have used a pink spotted background paper on black card not sure where the background paper came from as it's been in my stash box for some time, silver peel off around the rim of the card, pink card candy and get well soon sticker l also used my Pro marker pens to colour the image,

Penny Black Challenge Week 155 Fathers day

Hi Everybody,

Great, another week another Challenge l'm getting more confident doing these Challenges and look forward to putting a card together, last weeks challenge from Penny Black was for the ladies so this week its the men's turn and l have chosen to go for a Fathers day card which will be this  Sunday

although l won't be handing my card over to my Father it's in

Remembrance as my father passed away some time ago.

The image l used is Penny Black Cheesecake Parade and coloured it with Promarker pens, the background paper is from Summerdriggs Happy Fathers Day,

Words are Remembrance for a loving Dad, and it isn' t showing on this picture l have since Laminated the card because of where it will be placed and it will stay dry until it's removed.

New Home

 

 Hello Everyone,

Well l had a great weekend with my Grand daughter Tayla as her mum and dad were busy painting and decorating the new house which they hope to be moving into shortly, Tayla is our 1st grandchild and she is such a pleasure to be around, she brings a lot of love into our lives, the card above is being entered in   makeitmonday  which is anything goes!

so l made this lovely card for my son Shane and his wife Paula who are at this moment working so hard on the new house, the image is from Crafters Companion CD and its one of the projects which l didn't know l had until l decided to check the CD out as it's an old CD but has lots of images to chose from.

Well, another week another Challenge so this weeks Challenge is for  
simplylessismoore

Monochrome Colour challenge

l have used Simply Black & White colours for the Challenge 

Using plain Black and White card, the image used is from a CD with Monochrome images and as l have another brother with a birthday coming up in July thought a good pint image would make a nice card, l cut out the image twice and layered it giving it that 3D look, also used some Black Stickles glitter to put on the outline and on the buddles which do stand out but not sure if the effect is as good on the picture, Black peel off round the edge and Black and White Card Candy which l adore.

Sketch Papertake weekly challenge Birthday Card

Hi Everyone,

Another challenge this time this challenge is for Papertake Weekly Challenge (Sketch) as you can see l have put this card together for a friends Birthday and the papers used are from previous off cuts which l had stored in my scrap box,  l used  a butterfly on the backing paper which also has butterflies on and Card Candy, Pink ribbon with Yellow daisies and a peel off Happy Birthday also edged each background paper with gold peel off just to finish with.

The wording on the Sentiment is as follows.

Age is strictly a case of mind over matter. If  you don't mind, it doesn't matter!!
